1. Who we are and what this policy covers
This policy explains how the Hayati service ("Hayati", "we", "us") handles personal information when you use our mobile applications and this website. It covers account data, voice and in-room activity, content you post, and technical data generated while you use the service.
2. Information we collect
- Account and profile. Account identifiers, nickname, avatar, gender, birthday, region and language, and the sign-in method you choose (for example a third-party or guest login).
- Voice and microphone data. When you take a microphone seat, your audio is transmitted in real time so other people in the room can hear you. Live room audio is processed to deliver the conversation; we do not build a library of your conversations for advertising.
- Content you create. Chat messages, posts, topics, images, gifts you send or receive, and room information such as room name, cover and topic.
- Transactions. Records of in-app purchases, coins and virtual gifts, including order identifiers, amounts and status. Payment card data is handled by the app store or payment provider, not by us.
- Device and technical data. Device model and OS version, app version, language, approximate region derived from IP address, network type, crash logs and diagnostics.
- Usage data. Rooms joined, seats taken, features used, and in-app interaction events used to operate and improve the service.
- Safety and support data. Reports you submit, reports submitted about you, moderation decisions, and your correspondence with our support team.
3. How we use information
- Provide the service: create and secure your account, route live voice, display rooms, and deliver gifts.
- Keep the community safe: detect prohibited content and behaviour, act on reports, and enforce our User Agreement.
- Operate purchases: credit coins, deliver items, prevent fraud and handle refund requests as required.
- Communicate: service announcements, security alerts and responses to your support requests.
- Improve the product: understand aggregate usage, fix defects and test new features.
- Comply with law and respond to lawful requests from competent authorities.
4. Voice and microphone
Microphone access is optional and is requested only when you choose to speak. Audio is transmitted within the room as part of the live conversation. Room audio may be processed by automated systems for safety purposes such as detecting prohibited content, and may be captured in limited cases where a report requires review. You can stop transmitting at any time by leaving the microphone seat or closing the app.
5. Sharing
- Service providers. Vendors that host infrastructure, deliver content, provide live audio transport, analytics, crash reporting, payments, moderation and customer support, under contracts that limit their use of the data.
- Other users. Your nickname, avatar, level and public room activity are visible to other users, and your voice is heard by people in the room. Please treat rooms as public spaces.
- Legal and safety. Where we are required by law, or where it is necessary to protect the rights, safety and security of users or the public.
- Business transfers. If the service is reorganised, merged or sold, information may transfer as part of that transaction subject to this policy.
We do not sell personal information.
6. International transfers
We operate globally, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our infrastructure and service providers are located. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
7. Retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and for the period afterwards needed to meet legal, accounting, security and moderation obligations. Voice data is retained only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, such as completing a safety review. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.
8. Security
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
9. Your rights and choices
- Access, correct or delete your account information in the app, or by contacting us.
- Withdraw permission for microphone access at any time through your device settings.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to restrict or object to certain processing.
- Ask us to delete your account and associated personal information, subject to legal retention duties.
- Manage notification and marketing preferences in the app.
To exercise a right, email [email protected]. We may need to verify that you control the account before acting.
10. Children
Hayati is not intended for children. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child below the applicable minimum age, we will close the account and delete the information.
11. Cookies and similar technologies
This website is a static page and does not set advertising cookies. Our service providers may use local storage, device identifiers and similar technologies in the app to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance and prevent abuse.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will revise the date above and, where the change is significant, provide notice in the app.
